Welcome to the Appalachian Mountain Club’s NH Presidential Range Hike (PRH), a 9-day hut-to-hut hiking trek in the heart of the high peaks of New Hampshire’s rugged White Mountains, offered by the AMC’s Boston Chapter! The trip dates for 2024 are July 13-21.
On the pages of this website – guided by the links on the right margin above – you will find an overview of the trip, details on the itinerary and logistics, preparation/training guidance, what to bring and what to eat. Lastly you will see application, cost and travel information along with hiker commentary and visuals from prior years.

Many of our walks are “show and go”, with no registration required. Other walks will require participants to register at the AMC website.
We welcome everyone – you do not have to be an AMC member to join one of our walks or hikes. Dogs can join our walks & hikes, at the discretion of each individual leader. To ensure all participants know what to expect, please do not bring your “furry friend” along unless the trip posting states that dogs are welcome.
