Spend the weekend in the White Mountains of New Hampshire enjoying the foliage, hiking two 4000 footers, and eating well. The first night will be spent at the AMC's premier lodge, the Highland Center in Crawford Notch. After breakfast we will hear up to the Mizpah Springs Hut, which is nestled in a col between two 4,000-foot peaks. Mizpah Spring Hut is just a short distance from the fabled Crawford Path. The trail is 2.6 miles to the hut, with a gradual elevation gain of 1,900 feet through a boreal forest.
