Come join us on a 1-day summer loop hike of Mount Pierce and Mount Eisenhower. Enjoying 360 views , hiking to the summits of Mount Eisenhower and mount Pierce -Both are 4000-footers, offering fantastic views of the Presidential range weather permitting. The ridge line trail between the two peaks offers views for days!! Expect to start early, hiking a distance of 8.3 miles. There will be steady climbs and some bridge crossings, but all very worth it for what awaits you at the top! We will be car spotting, to avoid a 2.3 flat mile walk to our cars . This is a moderate hike, with 3150' elevation gain suited for hikers who are in good shape and enjoy good company.
Casey leads trips year around for the hiking/backpacking committee of the AMC Boston Chapter. He is heavily engaged in the H/B leadership and training programs such as Spring/Fall Leadership Training as well as our educational programs in the Spring and Winter Hiking Programs. Like other hikers that hike before sun up and after sun down and do 20+ miles, Casey likes to do the same only keep it under 10 miles :) He's experienced but not a speed daemon.
Erin is a 4 season hiker, enjoying hikes in the white and green mountains. She is also an avid biker, skier and yoga instructor! She's excited to bring members of the AMC up into the mountains to explore and adventure together.
