Intro to Sea Kayaking (boats available)

Introduction to sea kayaking will be taught on a lake in Amesbury, MA. Sea kayaks, paddles and pfds will be provided (if you own your own, it must be 14+ feet and decked over with sealed floatation compartments - contact the leader)

Learn how to adjust the fit of a sea kayak and learn the basic strokes. After a paddle up a nearby river for lunch we will return to the put-in area to learn group rescue techniques.

Fee: $60 AMC members ($70 non-members 0) for equipment and instruction.

Bring: non-cotton clothes, shoes that will stay on when you swim, glasses-keepers, hat sun, lotion, water and lunch, and dry clothes to change into later.
