Telemark Casual Clinic

AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

Meetup at Ragged Mtn in NH for day skiing. No formal instruction, simply skiing with AMC volunteer instructors offering hints and suggestions. This clinic is a follow-up to Jan 7 telemark clinic at Wachusetts. We will have two groups - advanced/intermediate and intermediate/novice. You can learn a lot skiing with advanced skiers who challenge you and ski runs you may normally avoid. All abilities are welcome (although not suitable for first-timers). Please register for this event with leaders (Jeff Barrell and Phil Mecagni) at [masked] . Cost is $79 (lift pass). Ragged Mtn is small, friendly resort about 2 hours drive from Boston. There are a variety of trails from easy to advanced, some ungroomed, some glades.
