Introduction to Sea Kayaking, Part 3 - Wind, Waves, and Current

The third part of the 3 part series Introduction to Sea Kayaking. This session will concentrate on paddling in conditions. Techniques for handling wind, waves, and current will be emphasized such as edging, asymmetric paddling, ruddering, crossing eddy lines, and the proper use of skeg in wind. Preference given to those who completed Parts 1 and 2. This session will be more advanced and requires good intermediate skills. Possible venues are Cohasset Harbor or Woods Hole, depending on the group and the weather.
