Rockport-Gloucester(Cape Ann) Bike Ride

AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

Leisurely 12-15 Mph) 30 Mile ride with a dozen stops highlighting the harbors, beaches and shorelines of Cape Ann (Gloucester Rockport)
We will ride mostly perimeter roads of Cape ann seeing Rockport, Pigeon cove, Lanesville, Annisquam, Downtown Gloucester, Rocky Neck, Bass Rocks, and Rockports South End. You will be an accomplished Cape Ann tour guide after this ride.
Commuter rail accessible. Rockport line train leaves North station at 8:30. Arrives at Rockport train station at 9:41. Bike ride starts at train station at 10:00.
A helmet is a must. Wind breaker is appropraite while water and snacks recommended or available on the way.
Bring appropriate wind-protective clothing, lunch, and snacks. Lunch or Ice cream available on Bearskin Neck at the finish Rain cancels.
