AT Franconia Notch to Crawford Notch (AA3B)

AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. Join us for a three-day backpack on one of the most beautiful sections of the AT from Franconia to Crawford Notch. We will start early on Friday morning at the Liberty Spring trailhead, hike the Franconia Ridge and spend our first night at the Garfield Ridge campsite. On day two, we will hike thru Galehead and South Twin to spend the night at Guyot campsite. We will finish the trip passing thru Zealand to Ethan Pond. ~30 miles. For fit and experienced hikers. Magnificent views on the ridge.
