A workshop for previous participants of the AMC Boston Rock Program to brush up on skills that may have been neglected over the last year or two. We will meet up at Quincy Quarries in a group of up to 12 persons for each session. More sessions may be added if needed.
The day will not follow a fixed schedule but focused on the interest of the participants. Most of the time will be spent practicing skills as this is not an instructional class. Come prepared with questions and ideas on the skills you need.
Bring your climbing gear and any rock gear you have or wondering how to use including: rope, webbing, static rope, biners and slings. We will not be using club gear, as when you are on your own you only have your own gear. If you don't have any, not to worry. We will have enough among us.
We will likely not need the full four hours allocated. The rest of the time/afternoon will be spent climbing for those interested (weather permitting).
Registration is required for this workshop. It's only open to graduates of the rock program (and those who instructed/assisted).
