Join us for a Spring hike up Mts Whiteface (4,020') and Passaconaway (4,043') - two peaks on the NH Four Thousand Footer list. This strenuous, approximate 12-mile loop hike will involve some significant scrambling up the open ledges on Mt Whiteface from where, weather permitting, we will be treated to stunning views of NH's Lakes Region. Expect a 9-hour, moderately-paced hike and an elevation gain of around 3,800'. Participants are expected to have recent previous experience of summiting NH 4,000 footers or equivalent mountains.
All participants must sign-up and communicate with the leader ahead of time. In order to adhere to AMC guidance, the total number of participants including leaders will be capped at 10. We will wear masks and abide by social/physical distancing for the duration of the event.
To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, unacceptable trail conditions or excessive crowding, the planned trip destination, activity and/or meeting place and time may be modified. In that event, participants may elect to join in that activity or opt-out.
