Early Bird Skin & Ski at Wachusett

AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

OVERVIEW: Join friends, or come to make new ones, at an early morning Skin & Ski at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area. It's been a tough year for spending time with friends or meeting new people. Thank goodness for the outdoors!

MEETING TIME AND LOCATION: Will be sent by trip leaders a few days before the event. If you don't receive it, please contact the trip leaders.

DIFFICULTY: Moderate to strenuous. Participants need to be capable of hiking at least 2000 vertical feet (at moderate grade) and spending the morning outside in winter. Your downhill ability should be advanced or advanced-intermediate (should master downhill before trying uphill).

PACE: Moderate to strenuous.

COST: Wachusett requires a one time purchase of an uphill season pass. Pricing is as follows: $25 if you have a 20/21 season pass and $50 for non-season pass holders.
