Join us for a hike around the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, a protected oasis for migratory birds, mammals, plants, reptiles, and amphibians. This will be a relaxed pace hike to enjoy the diverse wildlife and each other's company in the crisp autumn air. Only 20 miles west of Boston, this sanctuary stretches 12 miles along the Concord and Sudbury Rivers.
Plan to start at 9:30am and hike approximately 5 miles.
Online registration is required and limited to 10 participants, including leader(s).
Bring a back pack or some sort of bag to carry water, rain jacket, hat, gloves, snacks, mask, hand sanitizer. Wear sturdy, comfortable footwear.
After you register, the hike leader will send you detailed information on meeting location and planned trails.
