20s/30s: Volunteer for habitat management at Drumlin Farm

AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

Trip dates: Saturday, November 21, 2020 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Join AMC Boston Young Members to volunteer at Mass Audubon's Drumlin Farm and Wildlife Sanctuary! We will assist with habitat management tasks, such as lopping, pruning, and brush clearing. Afterwards, we can explore the trails at the wildlife sanctuary.

Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Please wear closed-toed shoes, not sandals. We recommend light-weight long pants, not shorts. Eye protection is recommended in case of stray branches while clearing brush.

Supplies to bring:
Mask
Hand sanitizer
Water
Gloves
Sun protection: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
Eye protection: glasses or sunglasses

All participants must sign-up and be screened ahead of time. In order to adhere to AMC guidance, attendance will be capped at 9 participants. We will wear masks and abide by social/physical distancing for the duration of the event.
