Celebrate the beginning of the 2020-2021 winter season by joining us on a (somewhat) early winter hike to one of the best views in the Whites, Mt Garfield. With clear views of both Franconia Ridge and the Presidentials, views could be spectacular.
This hike is for seasoned winter hikers who are familiar with and have access to snowshoes, crampons and ice axes, which will be required of all who join us. Consider bringing lighter weight traction as well - we will make a decision at the trailhead on crampons vs. microspikes. You must have all the regular hiking essentials, including headlamps for the return.
