Mt Jefferson (5,716') is in the Presidential range and the third tallest mountain in New Hampshire. It provides amazing 360 degree views, including Mt Washington to the South. We will attempt to summit Mt Jefferson using the Jewell Trail and Gulfside Trail. We will gear up for above treeline winter conditions and hike at a moderate pace, covering roughly 9.4 miles and gaining approximately 3,000' of elevation.
Participants should have previous "above-treeline" winter experience and should have hiked a similar distance within the last few months.

I love outdoor activities particularly winter hiking. I have completed the New Hampshire 4000 footers.
