Mt. Osceola and East Osceola Winter Hike

Trip dates: Saturday, February 22, 2020 12:00 AM

We hope to enjoy fantastic views from Mt. Osceola, but will need to earn them with a steep climb up East Osceola first. We will ascent the peaks from the Kancamagus via the Greeley Pond Trail and Mt. Osceola Trail, for a round trip of 7.6 miles with 3100 feel elevation gain. After an easy 1.3 mile approach along the Greeley Pond Trail, we'll climb steeply to East Osceola, taking our time as we go., and then follow the ridge to Mt. Osceola.before returning the way we came, As a reward for making the slow climb up, you can enjoy glissading on the way down.
