Looking for a winter warm-up to an upcoming White Mountains trip? Or want a decently challenging local hike this winter? Come join Young Members this February for an advanced local hike in the Blue Hills with fantastic views of the Boston skyline and surrounding areas!! Hike will be 6.5 to 8.5 miles with 1500 to 2000 ft of elevation gain over roughly 6 hours. As this is a winter hike in February, expect to be prepared for cold weather (lots of layers). Because we will be completing several steep ascents on rocky outcrops under snowy and icy trail conditions, microspikes will be required. This is not a trip for beginners.
Justin can be found hiking year round in the White Mountains. He completed the 48 NH 4000 footers in 2017 and is currently pursuing the Terrifying 25 list. Other interests include running, bicycling and golfing.
Meredith has hiked throughout the Northeast US, predominately in NH's White Mountains and NY's Adirondacks. She is currently working on her 48 NH 4000 footers list.
