Join us for a moderately paced hike up Mt Jackson 4,052 foot mountain located in Coos County, NH. We will hike up Webster-Jackson trail about 5.2 miles with 2150 feet elevation gain. If the weather is clear we should have some spectacular views! This hike is ideal for someone in decent shape wanting to practice snowshoeing/microspike technique. This trip is appropriate for experienced hikers who have done some easier winter trips of ~3-4 miles and are maintaining a baseline of hiking fitness. Current winter hiking program participants are encouraged to join us. This trip can be combined with the Leader's Saturday hike Galehead. Contact Joe C. about accommodations $9/person/night at Leader Owned Facility if interested. Pretzel the hiking hound will be joining us.
