Join us for a winter hike to Wildcats A through D (4422', 4330', 4298', and 4062'). Looking down over the ski area, Wildcat D boasts fantastic views of Washington, Adams, Madison, and more. We will ascend via the ski slopes to Wildcat D, then continue along the Wildcat Ridge Trail until we get to Wildcat A and head back the way we came. The climb up to Wildcat D is steep. We plan to hike ~ 8 miles at a moderate pace with 3,250 feet of elevation gain. Participants should have recent experience hiking the White Mountains in winter or equivalent winter hiking experience with similar distance, elevation/terrain and pace. Participants are required to purchase an "uphill ticket" from Wildcat Mountain ticket office for a small fee (last year this fee was $10).
