Join AMC Family Outings and Save the Harbor/Save the Bay for a free Hasrbor cruise to Boston LIghthouse Monday evening September 16. The cruise departs from the World Trade Center dock on the Provincetown II at 5:30 pm and returns to Boston at 7:30 pm. Boston Light is a lighthouse located on Little Brewster Island in outer Boston Harbor. We'll spend a few hours aboard the Provincetown II with wheelhouse narration about the history of the Boston Harbor Cleanup and the Boston Light Station by harbor historian David Coffin. Current lightkeeper Sally Snowman will also be on board to answer questions about manning this historic lighthouse.
You need to be at the dock by 5:15 pm for check in and boarding. The boat will depart promptly at 5:30pm.
For Directions: https://baystatecruisecompany.com/directions/. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase on board the Provincetown II (cash only) or you are welcome to bring your own. We will not disembark at the lighthouse, but rather will be cruising around the Harbor. For questions contact Jeanne Blauner, firstname.lastname@example.org, 978-202-5606.
- "Visiting Boston Light was one of the most picturesque and serene things I have seen in my life. Every angle and view is beautiful. You can see the Boston skyline and boats out in the harbor and neighboring islands."
