Trip dates: Sunday, September 22, 2019 12:00 AM

Join us for a moderately fast paced 10.6 mile out and back hike to the summit of Mount Carrigain. Weather permitting we will enjoy magnificent views on both Signal Ridge and from an observation tower at the summit. With a height of 4700 feet, reaching the summit entails a 3400 foot elevation gain. The trail climbs moderately for much of its distance with steeper, rocky footing as we turn toward Signal Ridge at about the 3 mile mark. We'll get an early start as this is a long hike.
