Join us for a hike to summit two 4,000' peaks in the northern White Mountains. After a short car spot, we will ascend Mt Hale (4,054') on the Hale Brook trail and then continue on the Lend A Hand trail to the AMC's Zealand Falls Hut. After pausing to view the Zealand Falls, we will continue along the Twinway trail and end our outbound journey on Zealand Mountain (4,260'). If the weather cooperates, we will have spectacular views into the Pemigewasset Wilderness at Zeacliff. Our return hike will take us back to the Zealand Falls Hut and then out across the beaver ponds to the Zealand Road trail head. This is a moderately paced 13-mile hike with over 4,000' of cumulative elevation gain. Participants should have recent experience of hikes of 10+miles with similar elevation gain.
