Join us for a challenging hike up the Glen Boulder Trail to the summit of Mount Isolation, one of the most remote peaks in the White Mountains. In the heart of the Dry River Wilderness, Mount Isolation affords outstanding views in many directions. The Glen Boulder Trail has some rough and steep sections, but also offers spectacular views along the way of Mount Washington and Wildcat Mountain. The hike will take us past Glen Boulder and above treeline, so hikers must be prepared with gear appropriate for all weather conditions. This is a 12-mile round-trip hike close to 5,000 feet of elevation gain. The pace of this hike will be moderate, and will take approximately 9 hours. https://regi.amcboston.org/event/2495.
