Join us for a summer hike up Mt. Carrigain. At 4,700 ft, Mt. Carrigain is the 13th highest of the New Hampshire 4,000-footers. With a 360-degree views over the Pemigewasset Wilderness from the summit fire tower, this mountain offers something to everyone, whether you are peak bagging or hiking for fun. Expect 3,400 ft of elevation gain over 10 miles on this out-and-back moderately-paced hike.
Casey leads trips year around for the hiking/backpacking committee of the AMC Boston Chapter. He is heavily engaged in the H/B leadership and training programs such as Spring/Fall Leadership Training as well as our educational programs in the Spring and Winter Hiking Programs. Like other hikers that hike before sun up and after sun down and do 20+ miles, Casey likes to do the same only keep it under 10 miles :) He's experienced but not a speed daemon
Lucia is working her way through the 4000-footers but that doesn't stop her from dreaming about the next challenge. She enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities in all seasons, so you can find her scrambling up a peak, taking a walk in the park, or biking on a rail trail.
