We will walk from the South end of Prospect Park along the ridge to the peak in the park. We'll have great views of downtown Boston and Waltham and enjoy this beautiful wooded area.
This hike is open to all families, is free, and is sponsored by AMC Boston Family Outings and OutdoorsRx. The walk is show and go. No registration is required. Members and non-members welcome. Please check this website the night prior to be sure the walk is still on, weather dependent.
Please bring a water bottle and snacks as needed for your kids (and you) and dress appropriately in layers. Come wearing footwear as well good for a moderate up and down walk, preferably hiking boots. Bring sun screen and insect repellent. The hike cancels for rain.
