Spy Pond Trails Project

Trip dates: Saturday, May 11, 2019 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

The Spy Pond trail project for 2019 will continue the work along the south end of the Pond that was started in 2005. The work planned for this year includes brushing out of the walkway and hardened shoreline access paths, brushing in side paths, and clearing any winter blow downs off the path. The Boston Chapter Conservation Committee will also be planting native species to stabilize the shoreline soil and provide wildlife habitat. The Spy Pond Environmental Task Group volunteers will be working on the path focusing on invasive plant removal and trash clean-up .Registration required for first time volunteers - call Leader. Questions, info, and returning volunteer registration - email Leader. See PDF link below for more project information.
