Nasja Mesa...the best unknown place to backpack in the world. Join Cambridge, MA photographer Harvey Halpern as he shows photos from his two latest long backpacks (33 and 24 days in length) on Nasja Mesa in Southern Utah. Harvey will also update you on the legal and political battle to reverse President Trump's illegal evisceration of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments, both in Utah.
Participation in the potlucks is optional. Homemade dishes are welcome, store bought goodies & takeout are equally welcome. Plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, napkins, and drink pitchers will be supplied. There is a full kitchen if you need to do any re-warming or prep (stovetop, oven, microwave, sink & fridge). Please bring your own cooking pots/pans if needed. FYI: If you are in the need for a last minute potluck dish, there is a Whole Foods Market just across the street from the Community College subway stop on Austin St (in the Bunker Hill Mall).
