Eyes on Owls! Live Owl Program! Bedford, MA

AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

Trip dates: Sunday, April 29, 2018 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM

Field naturalist Marcia Wilson and wildlife photojournalist Mark Wilson display six lively owls separately and walk them around the audience for close-views, photos, and questions. The live owl program will be preceded with a short narrative slide presentation and a rousing "hooting lesson" with audience participation. Great for the young and young at heart (recommended ages 5 - 99+). Mark and Marcia Wilson will share the field marks, signs, and naturalist's skills that you can use to find wild owls without disturbing them, while introducing you to six live owls up close! See www.eyesonowls.com.
