Looking for fun for the family the weekend before the 4th? Join us at the Shapleigh Bunkhouse, Crawford Notch! We'll have a grand time hiking, cooling off in water falls, socializing, and partaking in great food!
Hikes include a hike up Mt. Willard, a small mountain with an incredible big-bang-for-your-buck view. We will take a leisurely pace 1.6 miles (3.2 miles round trip; 900ft elevation gain) to the ledges that gives us a view down into Crawford Notch stopping for water/snack breaks. We will also hike to Arethusa Falls, New Hampshire's highest waterfall, Sunday, cool off in the pools and mist from the falls, enjoy lunch on the river rocks and bask in the sun before heading back to the bunkhouse for down time and dinner. Monday on the way home we may stop at the Flume Visitor's Center and check out the sights there.

Shapleigh from 1877 to 1894, now sleeps 16 in two coed bunk rooms, a common area, hot showers & restrooms, bed linens and towels provided and has a refrigerator and microwave. In late afternoon after hiking we relax, kids explore the awesome playscape, play card/board games, read or sleep. Sunday and Monday breakfasts will be buffet style next door at the Highland Center. Lunch fixings Sunday are included as well. Space limited to 16!
