Join us for a weekend of day trips - novice (easier) to intermediate backcountry ski tours - in the White Mountain National Forest between the Kancamagus Highway and Waterville Valley. Hilly, gently rolling, to flat terrain to be encountered. Must have intermediate cross country ski skills with downhill control/strong snowplow. Trails such as Greeley Ponds, Kancamagus Brook, Livermore Road, and Tripoli Road are likely destinations; leaders reserve the right to make changes pending actual trail, weather, and snow conditions. Lodging in Town Square Condos at Waterville Valley. Contact Aldo for more information and registration.
- "Mike and Aldo take such joy in skiing, it becomes infectious. Getting away from the crowds and deep in the woods gets you in touch with nature. That's why I like backcountry skiing."
- "A great way to use the skills learned in the Backcountry Ski Workshop. There are easier tours for novice backcountry skiers who are just starting to get off the groomed trails, and more rugged, intermediate tours."

He has led ski trips for several years.
