Craftsbury Cross Country Ski Weekend
Join us for our annual AMC January Craftsbury cross country skiing trip in the Northeast Kingdom in rural Vermont! Craftsbury has one of the largest cross country ski networks in New England, with full meal service, a gym & yoga room, sauna, and ice skating. Meals are inclusive from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch, buffet-style and always delicious! Price includes trail passes all day Fri through Sun. Gear is available to rent from the onsite Touring Center. The group generally convenes at meals and after dinner to socialize informally. Trip cost is $245, 4 people per cabin.

Ski In / Ski Out at Sunday River Ski Resort
Join us for a fun weekend of skiing, dining, and socializing with fellow skiers. Two days of skiing/telemark/snowboarding at Sunday River Ski Resort. Two nights B&B lodging at the on-mountain Grand Summit Hotel. Trip includes double occupancy rooms, private bath, two full buffet breakfasts, 2-day lift ticket, and 2 complimentary Perfect Turn Clinics (90 minutes with an instructor - one each day). Novice/Intermediate Telemark Ski Clinic, Mt. Wachusett
Learn to telemark or improve your turns at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in central Massachusetts! Those whose only prior experience is with alpine or XC can learn telemark on easy grades, while intermediate freeheelers will attempt steeper terrain. Some telemark rentals available. Registration required.
AVALANCHE AWARENESS TALK
Being in the mountains in the winter can be a very fun and magical experience. But like all outdoors activities there are hazards that we need to be aware of. Avalanches are one of those winter specific hazards and they do happen in the Northeast. If you would like to learn more about avalanches and start learning about how to avoid this hazard, this talk is a great place to start. During this hour long presentation we will go over the basics of avalanches using some local examples and discuss steps you can take to be avalanche aware.

Skate Ski Workshop
Learn how to skate ski at Waterville - this workshop is intended for people who are comfortable with classic nordic skiing, and would like to learn basic skate skiing technique. $21 fee includes trail pass and instruction. Rentals available separately for $23.

Backcountry Ski Touring in the Whites
Join us for a weekend of day trips - novice (easier) to intermediate backcountry ski tours - in the White Mountain National Forest between the Kancamagus Highway and Waterville Valley. Hilly, gently rolling, to flat terrain to be encountered. Must have intermediate cross country ski skills with downhill control/strong snowplow. Trails such as Greeley Ponds, Kancamagus Brook, Livermore Road, and Tripoli Road are likely destinations; leaders reserve the right to make changes pending actual trail, weather, and snow conditions. Lodging in Waterville Valley vicinity.

Backcountry Ski/Ride Clinic at Cardigan Lodge, NH
Join snow lovers of all types and abilities to explore the diverse backcountry terrain of Mount Cardigan! Skiers, snowboarders, and XC, AT, and telemark skiers are all welcome! Optional backcountry ski instruction in small groups based on interest and ability, from novice to advanced, then head into the backcountry. General & intermediate knowledge of skiing is required.

Ski in Snow-filled Stowe
Ski where the snow is! Join us for cross country skiing in Stowe Vt, home to the finest network of groomed cross country trails in New England. Winter Weekend in the Berkshires
Join us to explore skiing in western MA, southern VT, and eastern upstate NY on the three-day President's Day weekend. We will visit cross-country (XC) skiing areas and backcountry (BC) ski locations. Intermediate XC abilities needed (including downhill control on touring equipment). Maine Woods BC Ski Touring Adventure
BC Touring at it's best!
Discover the remote Maine woods on true ski adventure. We'll be based at West Branch Pond Camps within the AMC's 70,000 acre reserve east of Greenville, Maine. We will BC ski on unbroken trails, winding up the White Cap Mtn ridge and through hills and woods on a trails ranging from wide roads and open ponds to narrow trails and some bushwacking.

Jay Peak Front and Backcountry
A weekend of skiing around Jay Peak Vermont. Ski Jay resort on Saturday and backcountry on Sunday (optional). XC Ski Out the Door Craftsbury
Up to 99K of groomed XC ski trails. Optional snowshoeing, ice-skating, and apres-ski sauna, all in good company of intermediate skiers. Approximately $235.00 (depending on group size, there is usually a refund) includes three days of trail passes, two nights lodging, linens, and six sumptuous, healthy meals (Friday/Saturday dinner, Saturday/Sunday breakfast and lunch, and a potluck social hour on Saturday. Two per room with shared bath. Register before 1/26 with L. Trip fills fast! Note - this is an intermediate level trip.

Downhill and Cross-country Skiing at Sugarloaf Maine
Join us for a fun-filled ski weekend in Carabassett Valley Maine at Sugarloaf Mt. Participants can downhill ski at the resort, or cross-country ski at either the groomed trails of Sugarloaf Cross Country Center, or on the trails of the Maine Huts & Trail system. We'll be in a condo right at the base of the Mountain where you can choose from groomed trails, or ungroomed back-country options. Try downhill one day, and cross-country another! Experience in skiing is highly recommended. Cross-country skiers will be going at a moderate pace on Advanced-Beginner to Difficult trails.
