Activities for the Skiing Committee

AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

Nordic Skiing at Great Brook Farm

Saturday, March 13, 2021 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Great Brook Farm Cross Country Center is a great, nearby groomed nordic center in metro Boston. Come join us for a day of kicking and gliding. Depending upon the group and conditions we will ski about 6-10 miles. Due to COVID, assume the lodge and snack bar will be closed, so bring your lunch and fluids to be out all day. As of listing, rentals are not available. This trip is appropriate for novice to expert nordic skiers, unfortunately due to COVID there are no lessons available and we can't accommodate first-timers.
