AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.

AMC's Test Kitchen #BeOnliineWithAMC

Here's the plan: We all meet on Zoom on February 11th at 7pm and cook a new-to-you recipe. Something you;ve been wanting to make for a while but never had the chance. Chat with us while you cook, discuss your recipe, review it. This will be a pretty simple social cooking evening with the AMC Squad. Add your info to the sign up sheet and Save The Date for February 11th at 7pm. Zoom link will be emailed the day before the event per usual.

The Banff Mountain Film Festival is an international film competition and annual presentation of short films and documentaries about mountain culture, sports, and the environment.

There are a couple different film packages available. For this viewing party, we'll be watching the Amber program.

#BeOnlineWithAMC - Ty Gagne and The Last Traverse

Join us for a presentation from Ty Gagne on his latest book 'The Last Traverse: Tragedy and Resilience in the Winter Whites' - an epic account of two hikers who get caught in a winter storm atop New Hampshire's Franconia Ridge and the bravery and selflessness of the volunteers and professionals who willingly put themselves in harm's way to try and save them. This is a cautionary tale for anyone who hikes the White Mountains in winter.
The presentation will begin at 7:00 PM and will last approximately 1 hour.

Come listen to Lei Wang, a former AMC member who recently moved from Boston to Seattle, talk about hidden gems of the west and how the outdoor lifestyle compares to that on the east coast. You will see that there's more to Seattle than rain and more to hiking than Rainier! Come learn about some fun outdoor places to explore once we can travel again!
