Winter is Coming!
Spring Skiing on Mt Washington can vary from challenging to ecstatic. This will be two days of advanced backcountry skiing. We hope to ski in the bowl ( Tucks and/or GOS) at least one day, but conditions will dictate where we go. You need to be an advanced skier on groomed resort trails (black diamond). Backcountry snow may be powder, ice, or anything between, so you need to be capable of getting down without injury. Skins are required - beacons and shovel are required for those going into the bowl. Group size is limited and registration required.

Appetizers provided free of charge.
Call me crazy, but I like to hike uphill and ski down. I prefer skins, but one needs snow for that. Current conditions suggest we hike up Pat's Peak and ski down. There might be snow for skinning, but likely will bootpack up and ski down (traction needed). This could change if we get snow, hence Registration required ( https://goo.gl/forms/rB2hMI9q4xC7GVT93 ).
It's a great workout and should be part of your training regiment as you prepare for winter. Exercise, outdoors, skiing. Nothing crazy about that.
