Paddle with us as we explore the gold coast near Cohasset Harbor and the fall foliage in the drumlands, rocks and shoals around the Irish Rivera near Scituate.

An AMC Level 2 paddle for the fun of getting on the water one more time. Weather permitting! Dress for the Water Temperature.

Bring food and water for a picnic on some rock or beach in the area.

Paddle Weir River/World's End to Bumpkin Island

Join us for a moderate paddle in protected water in the Weir River, World's End areas. We will explore the River and back waters, and lunch on a beach overlooking Hingham Bay and the inner islands. We may lunch on/explore Bumpkin Island if conditions permit.

Wet exit required to qualify to wear a spray skirt. Kayak of ~15 ft with double bulkheads for flotation, pfd, paddle gear.
Water temp is about 56 F. Dress for water temp. Bring extra clothes, Food, snacks, and Water for lunch

Social at Jake's or Legal C Bar after!

Limit of 10 paddlers.

Sea Kayak Rescues Instructional

Rescues, self and assisted, can never be practiced enough to be a confident member of a sea kayaking trip, and to qualify for AMC Level 3, you have to be able to do both with confidence. We will practice in calm water, then find current and/or waves to test our skills around rocks and shoreline.

Kayaks with 2 bulkheads, extra paddle, spray skirt, and pfd required. Dress to get/be wet.
Bring water and lunch.

Intro to Sea Kayak. No Boat? No Problem!

Learn the fundamentals of sea kayaking. We will work on boat fit, efficient strokes, and group and self-rescue techniques. Time will also be available to discuss types of kayaks and equipment for safe and comfortable paddling.

Come prepared to paddle with clothes, sun protection and foot covering that will stay on when you are in the water. Directions and more info will be sent with your registration confirmation.

$60 fee includes boat, PFD, paddle, and instruction.
