Come to our Wednesday evening (5:30 pm - dark, May 20 - Sept. 16) pond socials! These are informal get-togethers at a pond in Concord (near Walden Pond) to practice paddling skills, roll whitewater kayaks and play around.
Everyone is welcome to join us with their own boat! We have WW kayak rentals for $10. You must be able to transport the kayak from the boathouse to the pond and back (approx. 5 miles).

Ipswich River Paddle

Meet at 9:00 AM on Sunday morning at the Topsfield Fairgrounds PARKING LOT Entrance on Rt. 1 in Topsfield MA. If you are coming from the south, take Rt. 95 to Rt. 1 in Topsfield. Continue driving north on Rt. 1. You go down a long hill to the bottom where Rt. 1 crosses the Ipswich River. It is not obvious that you have crossed the Ipswich River, look carefully. Immediately ahead on the right is the Fair Grounds Parking Lot Entrance. You should see a number of vehicles there with canoes on the roof.

Sunset Kayaking along the Charles River

Enjoy a leisurely one-way sunset paddle along the Charles River. This approximately 3-hour "Sunset Tour" begins at the Charles River Canoe & Kayak's Allston/Brighton location (1071 Soldier's Field Road), proceeding downstream for 5 miles toward their Kendall Square location. Along the way, we will enjoy views of Harvard, M.I.T., B.U., and conclude along the Esplanade enjoying views of the Boston skyline and sailboats on the river.

Paddle the Sudbury River

Celebrate our local Wild & Scenic rivers at Riverfest by paddling the upper Sudbury River.

Young Members Boston Seaside Surf and Turf. Row and Dinner

We will learn to row boats at the Boston Rowing Center in Downtown Boston. They provide all boats and instruction. Following that we will enjoy a tasty dinner and cold beverages at the Barking Crab next door to the rowing center. The "Crab" has a great summer menu, local beers, and an outdoor seating area with overhead cover in case of rain. Event will be held rain or shine. Rain will lead to an event other than rowing.
