Paddle on the Sudbury River from Wayland to Concord (about 6 miles) .
Camp at Scout Island in Fairhaven Bay on Saturday night.

Meet at 10 am on Saturday to shuttle cars to Wright Woods in Concord, a short paddle from the campsite. Flexible end time on Sunday (TBD by participants). Takeout will be at Lowell Road on Concord River (about 4 miles).

Join us for paddling either day or for camping only (water taxi to campsite will be available).

Kayaking in Waltham

Pond Social for Paddlers

Come to our Wednesday evening (5:30 pm - dark, June 8 - Aug 31) pond socials! These are informal get-togethers at a pond in Concord (near Walden Pond) to practice paddling skills, roll whitewater kayaks and play around.
Everyone is welcome to join us with their own boat! We have WW kayak rentals for $10. You must be able to transport the kayak from the boathouse to the pond and back (approx. 5 miles).

Enjoy roaring waterfalls a short walk away, Explore miles of hiking including the Tully Trail and Tully Mountain, great biking and paddling up the picturesque Tully River or explore the lake's islands and inlets. Or just lounge and relax beneath the towering pine trees. Cost $50 pp ($25 kids four & under) includes campsite, most meals, and s'mores. Communal cooking, chores and fun!

Kayaking in Waltham

It is going to be hot on Thursday and your A/C is probably still in the basement. Let's go kayaking and cool off with nature's A/C, cold river water. Afterwards we can go to one of the many restaurants on Moody St and grab some dinner/drinks. Rentals are $15 per hour and includes boat, life jacket, and paddle.

Ipswich River Paddle

Meet at 9:00 AM on Sunday morning at the Topsfield Fairgrounds PARKING LOT Entrance on Rt. 1 in Topsfield MA. If you are coming from the south, take Rt. 95 to Rt. 1 in Topsfield. Continue driving north on Rt. 1. You go down a long hill to the bottom where Rt. 1 crosses the Ipswich River. It is not obvious that you have crossed the Ipswich River, look carefully. Immediately ahead on the right is the Fair Grounds Parking Lot Entrance. You should see a number of vehicles there with canoes on the roof.
