<p>SOLO WFA is designed for outdoor enthusiasts who may find themselves far from immediate medical care, and need to rely on their own skills to survive and thrive if an emergency arises. This 2-day course teaches the basics of backcountry first aid, including building leg and arm splints, caring for wounds, and recognizing &amp; managing common medical problems, along with rare life-threatening emergencies. Most importantly, WFA teaches how to prevent such issues from occurring on a backcountry trip. Cost is $110, most co/leaders may be eligible for reimbursement.</p>
