Join AMC Boston Young Members for a Friday night camping trip to Peddock's Island! We'll arrive by ferry Friday afternoon, share a delicious potluck dinner, take an island hiking tour or swim and roast s'mores over the campfire. Saturday morning includes a group breakfast, time for more swimming, hiking or other recreation and a return to Boston at your leisure.
The Second Annual Family Cycling-Camping weekend, based this year in Wompatuck State Park, Hingham, MA. Working on your New England 4,000-footers or 100 highest? Then join us for a peak-filled car camping weekend in the Mahoosuc Mountain Range in eastern Maine. On Saturday, we'll hike the Old Speck Trail to the summit of Old Speck Mountain - Maine's 4th highest peak at 4,170'. The distance is a modest 7.6 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 2,700'. Hiking up the steep summit trails rewards hikers with spectacular 360° views from its summit tower.

Must be comfortable riding 12-20 miles per day with hills. $160 includes two nights tent site fee, two breakfasts, Saturday boiled lobster seafood feast and great company! Parking on mainland and ferry extra (no cars). But sag wagon will take tents, sleeping bags, and pads; you just need to bring your clothing.
Join YM Leaders Phil Baraona and Michele Grzenda from Aug. 6-13 at AMC's August Camp located on the shore of Lake Leland in Quilcene, Washington. This site is located in the foothills of the Olympic Range west of Seattle, just outside Olympic National Park. The forest, coastal, and mountain ecosystems of the Olympic Peninsula combine to create a spectacular wilderness park. We will explore this diverse environment with multiple hike offerings each day at varying levels of difficulty.
