This ride can be reached by T from North Station and Porter Square. Train leaves at 8:35 and arrives at 9:38. Please tell me if you are coming by train.
Ramble through central MA on quiet county roads. We wait for folks at turns. Stops at mile 11, mile 23, and with lunch at mile 30 (we need to get there before 2 PM). Route is relatively flat, with one long hill. Last ten miles on the Nashua River Rail Trail.
You should be able to cycle 13-15 mph on the flats. Need bright clothes, flashy lights, spare inner tube, working bike and helmet. Meet at 9:45 for a 10:00 start.

Join us for 25-50 mile led road rides over scenic, hilly country roads on both sides of the scenic Taconic Range along New York-Massachusetts-Vermont border (10-13 mph easy pace, but intermediate hilly terrain). Previous group cycling experience in hilly terrain highly recommended, though not necessary for strong flatland cyclists. $238-$288 per person includes 3 nights lodging in a relaxing country home (linens, blankets & towels included), 3 breakfasts, 2 happy hours & dinners Saturday & Sunday (meals fit for a foodie!). Buckle your helmet, clip your shoes, turn on your camera, & join us on a tour de force. This is not to rest & relax. Rather, it is to jam pack all the best that Maine has to offer in one weekend: rocky coast, lobster, lighthouses, diners, Bar Harbor, bakeries, Acadia National Park Drive, frigid water dip, & Mt Desert.
It will even coincide with Adventure Cycling Association's Bike Your Park Day. We will celebrate our public lands on Saturday with a ride through Acadia National Park.
Mike has been biking since junior high and has been leading rides with the AMC since he moved here in the 1990's. He leads rides from evening rides to local day trips to regional weekends to week long tours in New England and in Tuscany and the Czech Republic for AMCs Adventure Travel Program.
Join us for a fun and beautiful approximately 21-mile ride through Acton, Boxborough, Harvard, and Stow. Rolling terrain. Ride will be split into two groups: intermediate (13-16mph) and easy (10-13mph). Ride leaves promptly at 10:00am, Douglas School parking lot, 21 Elm St. Acton, MA. No advance sign-up necessary. Helmet, water, spare tube, and bike in good working order required. Rain cancels, check this website for a cancellation notice. Please arrive by 9:30 so that you can get your bike ready and participate in the safety talk.

All the charm of Lake Champlain Islands in 35-65 flat miles over scenic Vermont pavé roads (read: some unpaved sections), country stores, Adirondack & Green Mountains views, & dips in refreshing lake water.
The trip has all ingredients for relaxing yet active weekend: several stops at state parks, scenic views at every turn, multiple stops for locally fresh food, & frequent beach stops for opportunities to dip in the water. Plan on three days of riding: Friday morning through Sunday afternoon.
The 41st annual AMC Boston Chapter Bicycle Rally will be held at Verrill Farm in Concord on Saturday, June 8, 2019. It is a wonderful opportunity for cyclists of all levels to get together to begin the summer bike season. Come help us celebrate.
This year there will be rides from 16 to 50 miles on beautiful rolling terrain. After the rides, riders can enjoy an outdoor happy hour with appetizers, beer, wine, and soft drinks followed by dinner.
Dinner will be served under a tent on the grounds. We will have a sumptuous dinner with vegetarian option.

Please join us for a leisurely 23 mile bike ride on the Rhode Island South County Bike Trail AKA William C. O'Neill Bike Path to Narragansett Beach and Scarborough State Beaches. The bike path is 7.8 miles to Narragansett and then on the road to Scarborough State Beach where we will stop for lunch and a swim if desired. Meet at 10:15am for a 10:30 am start. Bring your helmet, water, snack/lunch, bike in good working order, spare tube, small towel/swimsuit if desired and a sense of humor!
Meet at the parking lot next to the Bikeway Source, 111 South Rd, Bedford for a 30 mile intermediate paced ride through back roads of Bedford, Concord, and Carlisle.
Ride will start promptly at 10AM, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to be ready to ride at 10.
In case of bad weather, the ride will be cancelled by 8AM
