Cape Ann-Marblehead-Essex 25 and 45 miler

Easy/Moderate 25 miler around Cape Ann followed by a faster 20 mile loop through Marblehead and Essex. Lunch afterwards at world famous Woodman's clam shack. Start at Stage Fort Park in Glouchester, and then bike along the rocky coast of Cape Ann. After return to the start some of us will do the 20 mile loop along the coast and marshes of Marblehead and Essex. If you are interested, you will need a working bike, spare tire, bike helmet, bright clothes and sun block. Rain Cancels.

Littlteton MA to Holis NH 40 and 50 miler

Franconia - Kinsville Notch White Mountain TourModerate paced on a 55 mile tour with long gradual hills for a total of 4000 ft of elevation gain. First 20 miles of ride is up hill with the plus that the last 18 miles of the ride is downhill. Will make stops at top of Franconia and Kinsville Notched for a quick swim! Starts at 9 AM, 2 hours (by car) north of Boston in Thorton, NH. Option to do a metric century by adding a loop at the end. If you are interested, you will need a working bike, spare tire, bike helmet, bright clothes, wind breaker and sun block.

Moderate 100km Bicycle Tour

An easy 67 mile ride/tour on quiet country roads leaving Rumney NH at 10:00 The route begins with a six mile long hill and then is either down hill or relatively flat the rest of the way. If some of you are daunted by the hill maybe your driver can drop you off at the top. There is also an option to stop at 50 miles in Plymouth and have your driver pick you up on the way home. If you are interested, you will need a working bike, spare tire, bike helmet, bright clothes, wind breaker and sun block. Your bike should have road tires, not knobby tires, unless you want a much harder workout.

Cycling will include some steep but short hill sections, and the relatively flat Southwick Rail Trail and portions of Farmington Canal Heritage Trail (which spans Connecticut).
