Little Compton Ramble

Saturday, October 13, 2012 12:00 AM

Please join me for a lovely 38 mile moderately paced autumn ride in and around Little Compton RI. A little known historical fact. The Rhode Island Red is a breed of chicken originally bred in Adamsville, a small village that is part of Little Compton. Little Compton is the only place in the United States with a monument dedicated to a chicken (really it's true!). We will visit a couple of beaches and get plenty of ocean views. Feel free to bring your lunch or purchase something in Little Compton. You must have a bike in good working order and of course helmets are required.
