AMC offers COVID conscious opportunities to enjoy the outdoors locally, visit many of our lodges and campgrounds, and join virtual events and activities. Participants of all in-person events should bring and wear face coverings, expect social distancing, and changes to our usual practices. To support contact tracing and hands-free signing of the AMC liability waiver, online registration is required for all in person AMC events.
Join us for a 24 mile ride at a 12-14 mph pace starting at 10 am.We will ride through Bedford, Concord and Carlisle. We hope to see the Cranberry Bog in Carlisle being harvested and will stop at Great Brook for Ice Cream. Rain Cancels. You must have a helmet and spare tube with stuff to fix your flat. This is a moderately paced, mostly flat 25+/- mile ride past beaches and marshes in the Falmouth/Woods Hole area.
Labor Day Weekend Family Camping, Burlingame Campground, RI . Join AMC Families just two hours south of Boston for relaxing family camping, featuring pond for swimming, boating, fishing, s'mores, etc. Bring frisbees and balls. Biking will be offered Sat. and Sun. on scenic terrain near ocean/woods outside the park roughly 12 - 16 miles and including stops for lunch and ice cream.
