Join the Wednesday Wramblers for a fun day in beautiful Rhode Island as we enjoy a leisurely (10-12 mph) 32 mile bike ride (on road) that hits all the highlights of this beautiful corner of Little Rhody: ocean views, farms, cows and salt marshes. The terrain is rolling with a few hills (elevation gain of 1,356 feet) on mostly lightly traveled roads. We will have opportunities to stop for ice cream and for those with the time and inclination, a post-ride stop at Evelyn's Drive-In in Tiverton for seafood.

I began leading bike trips for the AMC in 1990 and led for ten years before taking a break. When I became active with the Forty Plus Committee I decided to start leading again. I took a refresher leadership course and Wilderness First Aid and now I am certified as a cross-country ski and bike leader. I have met many wonderful leaders and trip participants and Forty Plus has become one of my most enjoyable retirement activities.
