Come to our Wednesday evening (6 pm - dark) pond socials! These are informal get-togethers at a pond in Concord (near Walden's Pond) to practice paddling skills, roll whitewater kayaks and play around. Everyone is welcome to join us with their own boat! We have WW kayak rentals for $10. You must be able to transport the kayak from the boathouse to the pond and back (approx. 5 miles). If this is your first time in a white water kayak, we will ask you to demonstrate a wet exit (you will flip the kayak over and exit from under the water.) Pizza social at a local restaurant after for those interested! Contact Melanie (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions.
