Revere was a prosperous and prominent Boston silversmith, who helped organize an intelligence and alarm system to keep watch on the British military. Please join us for a historic trek from Watertown to the Historic North Bridge in Concord. This is a 30 mile historic road ride through the beautiful towns of Lincoln and Concord. Let's plan a short hike at Walden Pond on the way back to Belmont. Bring a lunch, spare tube, plenty of water, and sense of humor. Please don't forget your helmet. 10 am start time. 22 max. participants. Registration required.
We'll do the popular new routes that were led for the first time at the rally last June. We will have rides of 15 and 29 miles on beautiful and lightly traveled roads in Harvard, Littleton, Boxborough and Acton. the 29 mile will have a food/water stop at Idylwilde Farms.

Beginner instructional and easy ride. We will meet at a local (Eastern Mass or RI) rail-trail parking lot to review bicycling basics like shifting, signaling, tire inflation, proper helmet position, group protocol and the like before heading out together on a 10-12 mile ride at an easy pace with no significant hills. Ideal for those who haven't ridden in a long time or who have a new bike they want to get a feel for. See link below for more information. Helmet required. Rain cancels. Join us for a fun and beautiful approximately 25-mile ride through Concord, Carlisle, and Acton. Rolling terrain, no big climbs. Ride will be split into two groups: intermediate (13-16mph) and easy (10-13mph). Meet at 10:00am, Keyes Road municipal lot by Visitors' Center in Concord Center (off Main Street). No advance sign-up necessary. Helmet, water, spare tube, and bike in good working order required. Rain cancels.

Bike Camping on Nantucket before the July 4th crowds! Join us for a relaxing weekend of easy biking and beaching. Shared meal prep and clean up in a lovely, rustic campground. 2nd Annual Newburyport to Portsmouth Ride, Saturday June 28th at 10 am. Please join us for a 50 mile coastal ride along the New Hampshire shoreline with a starting point in Newburyport. The route will take us along Hampton beach as well as a stop at Wentworth By the Sea Hotel, built in 1874 by a distiller from Somerville. Let's plan on having lunch at Odiorne State Park and spending some time in Portsmouth before heading back to Newburyport. Dinner is an option for those who want to hang out in Newburyport with a possible visit to Plum Island for some late afternoon sun. All the necessary gear will be needed, spare tube, helmet, insect repellent for the beach (if the green flies are still about). Of course rain, snow or a meltdown at Seabrook cancels.

Join us for a spin around the hilly western section of the Sudbury-Assabet watershed. Along the way we will pass SVT properties and land protection projects underway. This 22-mile loop winds through hilly back roads of Northborough, Berlin, and Bolton. We will be going at an intermediate pace and stopping briefly at several conservation sites of interest.
