Little Compton Ramble

Bicycling Date: Sat September 27, 2014

Please join us for a lovely 38 mile moderately paced late summer/autumn ride in and around Little Compton RI. A little known historical fact. The Rhode Island Red is a breed of chicken originally bred in Adamsville, a small village that is part of Little Compton. Little Compton is the only place in the United States with a monument dedicated to a chicken (really it's true!). We will visit a couple of beaches and get plenty of ocean views. Feel free to bring your lunch or purchase something in Little Compton. You must have a bike in good working order, spare tube and of course helmets are required. After the ride we are going to have something to eat at Evelyns in Tiverton for some great seafood. This ride is limited to 24 people.
