Ride from Marblehead to Nahant and back. Explore some interesting Boston vistas from two peninsular coastal towns with interesting New England history. Lunch stop overlooking rocky shoreline. Ride 30 - 35 miles. Rain cancels.
Please join us for a nice 40 mile ride at an intermediate pace over mostly flat to rolling terrain that has something of interest for everyone. The route goes down into Stonington Village en route to Stonington Point and its marvelous views of Fishers Island Sound to the southwest and Block Island Sound to the southeast. The route then heads inland up and past wine country into No. Stonington Village. You might want to bring a lunch because places to purchase anything along the route are limited. After lunch the route heads back toward the ocean and features a lovely ride along the Mystic River and on to Groton Point for some more ocean views and a stop at Abbott or Costello's for seafood. 12 scenic miles through Wayland/Sudbury. Modest hills. Meet 6:00pm, depart 6:15 sharp from lot behind Town Building on SW corner of intersection of Rtes 20 and 27/126. This is NOT police/fire complex on NE corner of the same intersection. Dinner to follow at The Local in Wayland Town Center.
Meet at Schneider-Electric at 800 Federal St, Andover at 6 PM for a 6:15 start. See map for location of parking lot. Moderate (12-14 mph) on a moderate 19 mi loop through Andover. Thursday morning ride leaving Bedford Depot at 9:30am. This will be a road ride, about 20 miles and pace 12-14 mph.

Meet at the Bedford Library for a 22 mile ride through Concord, Carlisle and Bedford. Please arrive at 5:45 for a 6pm start. Moderate pace 12-14 mph. Dinner at a local diner will follow. Helmets are required, you should have a spare tube and gear to change a flat as well as a light and reflective gear. Registration is not required. Rain cancels.

Come to Martha's Vineyard for a mid-August break. Two days of biking, beaching and relaxing. Bike 33 miles (Sat.) along mildly hilly back roads and coastal areas with beaches. Sunday is a shorter ride; return home on a sunset ferryboat cruise. Sign up early to confirm your place. Cost of $130 covers hostel lodging, two breakfasts and Saturday dinner.

15 mile loop from Concord through Carlisle. Start at municipal lot on Keyes Street behind Main Street in downtown Concord. Meet at 5:45, ride at 6PM. Dinner afterward at nearby pub. Rain cancels.
