Welch Dickey Early Season Hike

Trip dates: Saturday, April 29, 2017 12:00 AM

Join us for one of the best known, most scenic hikes in the White Mountains. We will take the 4.5 mile Welch-Dickey Loop which includes a modest 1800 feet of elevation gain, featuring panoramic views, and open ledges. We plan a moderate paced, half day hike and is appropriate for beginners, those who want a good warm up, anyone who is working on the 52 WAV list, or anyone who just wants a good half day on the trail. Dogs welcome.

MicroSpikes and appropriate footwear will be required for this hike in addition to layers, 2 liters of water, and the normal 3 season gear.
