Join us for a winter day hike with the goal to stand on the summits of North (4,293') and South (4,358') Kinsman mountains. Following the western approach via the Mount Kinsman and Kinsman Ridge trails we will pass some historical features including an old sugar house and an area where the Kinsman Cabin once stood. If weather permits the north summit, though wooded, offers a beautiful view of the Franconia Ridge. The round trip is 10 miles with 3,900' of elevation gain and our estimated time is 8 to 9 hours depending on weather conditions.
