Social events are times for members of the skiing community to get together and talk about the sport that they love. Everyone is welcome, come along and enjoy the food and good times.

Tuesday, October 2, 2009 Ski Swap

Wednesday, November 18, 2009 Ski Tuning Social
Bring your skis or snowboards and some food to share for an evening with fellow skiers and boarders. We'll start with dinner at 7:00, then work on tuning in shifts. There will be several workstations with files, irons, and wax, and help and guidance for novices. If you have clamps, files, and iron, please bring them and we'll set up a workstation. There will be plenty of time to share stories of last season and discuss plans for the coming winter. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Ski Committee's activities, have your questions answered, and meet other snow-sliding-minded members!
Wednesday, December 2, 2009 Ski Commitee Open House
The third annual Open House will be held at the AMC headquarters, 5 Joy Street in Boston on December 2nd. This will be an opportunity to meet members of the AMC Boston Chapter ski community. There will be equipment displays and refreshments. We're pleased to present a slide show by Dave Metsky about his recent ski trip to Japan.
