From the West:

Take 128 to route 9 to the Jamaicaway (Route 1) and go South on the Jamaicaway (take a right). You will go through two lights. After the second light (at Perkins St.) you’ll see Jamaica Pond on your right, and you will come to a third light (Pond Street). Take a left on Pond St. and go to the end. Pond dead ends at Centre. Take a right onto Centre. Pass through one stoplight and take the next left onto Seaverns. (As you turn, there will be a Purple Burrito restaurant on your right and a video store on your left.) In about a block, the road will fork. Take the left fork. Half a block from the fork, Alfred Street will be on your left. (Alfred Street is a short street between Seaverns and Green.) Start looking for parking and park anywhere on the right along Seaverns (or on Alfred, is there is a space). If Seaverns is full, you can go around the block and back up on Green and there should be parking there somewhere.

Depending on where you are coming from, it may be easier to take 128 to route 9. Otherwise, take 93 south and take the Cambridge/Storrow Drive exit. Take Storrow Drive into Boston, and get off at the Fenway Park Exit. From this exit, you want to take a right toward Fenway park (I think it is Brookline Ave.)

Follow Brookline Ave straight, past Beth Israel/Deaconess Hospital and past the Joslin Hospital. After the Joslin, watch for the next major 4-way intersection. This is the Jamicaway (also called the Riverway).

(ALTERNATE: From Brookline Ave, once you pass the Fenway, you can also follow the signs for route 1/Riverway/Jamaicaway -- I am just not sure what the signs say. At the intersection of Park Av and Brookline (near the Feway Theater) you would take a right and curve around onto the Riverway/Jamaicaway/Route 1. Follow into JP and see directions below.)

  1. To follow directions from West (above).
  2. Take 203 through Dorchester to Center Street in JP. Once you get to Centre, take a RIGHT onto Seaverns and follow directions above. If you need help getting from 203 to Centre, give me a call.
