 The Family Outings Committee of AMC is led by a group of dedicated individuals who keep us connected through the planning of trips and posting of information through our email list.
About our Leaders (in alphabetical order)

Jennifer Dundon

Jennifer brings a world of Girl Scout experience and 2 growing boys to the FOC. She has led the Nickerson State Park camping program for 2 years.

Joan Entwistle

Joan enjoys leading hiking, camping, cross-country skiing, and show-shoeing trips for all ages, with her daughter. A former Hiking/Backpacking leader, she is in the process of becoming a 40+ leader, as well as leading a Girl Scout troop and is certified in Wilderness First Aid.
 

Eddy Lutmer

Eddy and his family have organized countless trips over 10 years and continue to be active with  several different committees of the AMC. He is the current chair of the FOC and has encouraged and developed the strong leadership of this group. Good in any emergency, with SOLO WFA, Eddy can also repair most equipment or make it fit to children on the spot.

Gael Motz

Gael has led local walks, and co-led many camping, ski and boating trips. She is a current Certified Professional Rescuer, with Adult, Child and Infant CPR. Gael is a lifetime Girl Scout, and experienced in wilderness skills, and always willing to share nature lore. Gael  also has a 2 Tipi-Native American style village, with food, tools, crafts and games available for educational  programs in schools and camps.

Valerie Paul


Valerie is the current registrar for the FOC and has a reference library of past trip "poop sheets" available for planning. With WFA certification, she enjoys camping, boating and skiing with her son. Valerie has led and co-lead overnight and day trips. Valerie holds the record for being able to cram the most gear into the smallest car for a weekend away.
